FIRST EVENT: RIDER CLINIC

Come and build the horse of your dreams with Josh Lyons. Learn how to build the foundation steps on your horse to create an athlete or a more responsive horse where you can accomplish more than you ever dreamed about. This is an opportunity that you and your horse will benefit from whether you are an avid trail rider or athlete in the show ring, this clinic will be something for all of you and even more.

This clinic will be open for the spectators also, again an opportunity to learn as you observe many riders with different skills and horses. Whether you are in the saddle or in the stands, this will be an event not to miss.


First Rider Clinic - Tuesday to Thursday: May 27, 28, 29, 2008 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

These events will be held at Pine Haven Quarter Horses in Plantagenet, Ontario. Cost is $25 a day for spectator only.

Certificate of Accomplishment will be issued after the rider clinic for all rider participants.

The fee is $850 CDN for horse and rider. You must reserve a spot with a non-refundable deposit of $250 in order to hold your spot.

SECOND EVENT: Reining Demo with music by Summer Bounds and a BBQ Supper on the Farm at Pine Haven Quarter Horses in Plantagenet
This event starts at 6 pm on Friday, May 30th.
The price will be $25 for the demo and $50 for both demo and BBQ Supper with music and entertainment by Summer Bounds local Country Western Band.

This will be the Grand Opening of the Facility with Special Guests.

Door Prizes and much much more for all.

Josh will be riding Flash, his reining horse, showing us the foundation work and exercises needed to built a solid reining horse for the show ring and beyond. You can join France, Josh and Jana Lyons for a BBQ Supper on the farm with music and entertainment by Summer Bounds. You Bring your own Refreshment for the evening entertainment!! This an evening of educational opportunity, fun, entertainment, good music and good people sharing common goals on Good Horsemanship.

THIRD EVENT:
A Symposium takes place from Saturday, May 31st to Sunday, June 1st, where Josh will demonstrate the Lyons method of starting a young horse under saddle and beyond. It will be an information-filled, educational and interesting 2 days of seeing him train and work with an unbroke horse. Learn how to build a Strong Foundation for the Future at Pine Haven Quarter Horses in Plantagenet, Ontario.

Josh will be doing demos with his horses to show more advanced manoeuvres, to show the next step of the horse after he is broke and present more advanced manoeuvres in the training of the young horses.

Also during the weekend, Josh will be demonstrating how to load and train a problem trailer-loading horse. 1 day pass is $50 and a 2 day pass is $80. This event starts at 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. This is an event for all discipline of riders!!
