 Pine
Haven Quarter Horses is a business built out
of childhood dreams. As far as I can remember,
horses have been a great passion for me. I
have always admired their strength and power.
Working and training horses was my dream, and
it's my determination and willpower that gave
me the chance to study with the world's best
instructors:
- I
studied with Tania and J.C. Daudelin
to complete Level 1 Western Coach in
1998 at Ranch JC Daudelin.
- I
studied with Richard Shrake in 1999 to
complete Level 1 of
his Apprenticeship Program.
- I
completed the Western Intermediate
Level with Lyne Laforme at Calixa
Lavallé in 2001.
- AND,
in 2002, I studied with John & Josh
Lyons in Parachute, Colorado to complete
his certification program.
- I
am also a regular columnist writing articles
on horse training for "Cowboy Magazine".
My
husband Eric, my two daughters, Amélie
(2 years old at the time ) and Laura (2 months
old), and I embarked on a journey that would
change our lives forever. We went to Parachute
Colorado to study with John & Josh Lyons
so that I could receive my certification.
It took me 5 years to achieve my goals; hard
work, determination and faith made me who
I am today.
